The Parish Council would like to add its support to the Templecombe Together Group which was set up to provide practical help to members of our Community struggling to cope with the impacts of the economic challenges in our country.
This group of volunteers are running the Larder set up in St Mary’s Church which is open every Tuesday and Friday from 1.30 to 4.30pm. A wide range of food is available for free to anyone – TAKE WHAT YOU NEED!
Anyone can donate food to the Larder if they wish – a list of items needed is available at the Larder.
A monthly free lunch at the Social Club is also an initiative started by this group – again it is open to anyone at no cost as all of the food is donated. Watch out on Social Media for the next date.
The Citizen’s Advice Bureau is coming to the Coffee Morning at the Social Club on 30th November from 11to 12 – questions can be submitted anonymously ahead of the discussion. Please spread the word!
