South Somerset District Council (SSDC) is delighted to invite residents and businesses to join us on Zoom for our ‘Meet your Broadband Providers’ event on Thursday 8 December at 2.30pm.
We have some excellent speakers lined up including Connecting Devon and Somerset, Wessex Internet, Jurassic Fibre and Gigaclear. This is a free opportunity for people to meet the South Somerset Broadband Providers to better understand where fibre broadband is being delivered now and in the future.
Connecting Devon and Somerset is a local government-led partnership which helps to deliver next generation broadband infrastructure to areas where the market has failed to invest.
This free event is open to everyone and there will be opportunities to pose questions to the panel.
Most of us use digital connectivity every day and it is increasingly important for both businesses and individuals. SSDC are committed to supporting South Somerset communities and businesses to get online and are working closely with infrastructure providers and Connecting Devon and Somerset to achieve this.
You are encouraged to send any questions in advance for the providers to econdev@southsomerset.gov.uk or contact us for further details.
