Information on the Changes
As from 12th June 2023 Somerset Recycling Centres will cease recycling cartons due to the great success of the roadside recycling initiative.
The roadside system has drastically reduced the number cartons recycled at the centres due to a massive increase in the numbers of cartons collected at the roadside. Last year 10 tonnes of cartons were picked up at the roadside and less than 500kgs taken to the recycling sites across Somerset.
A further reminder – due to the Bank Holiday on Monday 28th May our Templecombe collections will not be on Friday 2nd June but on Saturday 3rd June. This is the usual way collections falling on a Bank Holiday Monday are managed
