A further updated planning application has been received for the building of five houses on the site. In 2018 an application for four houses on the site was approved by SSDC but not actioned. Comments need to be made by 16th February 2021.

The Parish Council considered planning application no 20/03243/FUL – Coombe Farm West Street and made the following comment via email.
The Council is in support of the proposed application but have serious reservations about the local roads in the area, namely West Street and the narrow section of road leading out to Bowden Road which is to all intents and purposes a single-track road, due to the additional traffic generated by this and other proposed development on this road
