The application to build 140 houses on the land to the South of Bowden Road has now been submitted and was validated by SSDC on 13th January.
The application has been scaled down from the original 160 houses initially published in the material used for the public engagement process.
The closing date for members of the public to make comments is Thursday 9th February.
On the application information available on the SSDC Planning Portal the Determination Deadline for the application is set at Friday 14th April – this is the date for the decision to be made by SSDC.

To access the documentation on the SSDC planning portal you will need to click on the Documents tab and then click on the view documents text. This will present a list of all the documents associated with the application which can then be accessed and downloaded or printed.
Additionally, by selecting the Comments tab, and the option ‘Public Comments’ you will be able to see all of the public comments made on the proposal
