The Parish Council has completed the installation of five new benches at various locations around the Village. The new benches all have a commemorative plaque celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
These benches were funded by the Parish Council as part of its Village improvement plan but we should recognise the help given by our local groundworks company Gartell and Son who cast and installed the concrete bases as a donation to our Village. Additionally our thanks go to Cllr David Seares, who led the project, provided the pictures, and worked closely with Gartell and Son to ensure the work was completed in time for the Jubilee celebrations scheduled for June.
